The proclamation of Jon Rahm’s exit from LIV Golf has sent shockwaves through the professional golfing world. Now, it looks like another high-profile player might be following suit. Reports suggest that Adrian Meronk, a five-time DP World Tour champion, is considering leaving LIV Golf after Rahm’s decision.
Meronk’s potential departure comes as LIV Golf continues to lose some of its biggest names. Rahm, a two-time major champion, is the latest in a string of top players who have returned to the PGA and DP World Tours. His move raises serious questions about LIV Golf’s future and its ability to attract and retain top talent without the backing of golf’s elite.Players like Meronk are now faced with a tough decision. Should they stay with LIV Golf, hoping it will stabilize and become a respected part of the golf landscapeor should they return to the established tours for more consistency and a broader fan base? The golf world is watching closely to see how this plays out.
| Player | Tour | Rationale |
|---|---|---|
| Jon Rahm | DP World Tour | Seeking consistency in competition and a broader fan base. |
| Adrian Meronk | Pending | Considering return to established tours due to uncertainty at LIV Golf. |
