Golf Handicap

Golf Handicaps Explained Like You’re 10 If you’ve ever heard golfers say “I’m a 12” or “he’s a 5 handicap” and had no idea what that meant, this video is for you. The golf handicap system sounds complicated, but it’s actually one of the coolest parts of the game—it’s what lets beginners, weekend players, and low-handicappers all compete fairly. In this video, I break down golf handicaps in simple terms: what a handicap is, how it’s calculated, what Course Rating and Slope mean, the difference between Handicap Index and Course Handicap, how to post scores, what “net vs gross” actually is, and why things like sandbagging and vanity handicaps matter. By the end, you’ll know how to get a handicap, how strokes are given out on the scorecard, and how to use your handicap to play fair matches with friends and track your improvement over time—without needing a math degree. #golfhandicap #WorldHandicapSystem #GolfForBeginners #GolfExplained #GolfScoring #GHIN

Ever wondered what a real 2-handicap round actually looks like — not the highlights, not the hero shots, but the truth? This is 9 holes on the links at Barton On Sea Golf Club, playing the Needles 9, filmed exactly as it happened. Every swing. Every decision. No edits. No ego. I wanted to show this because so many golfers think low-handicap golf is “perfect” golf… but it isn’t. It’s messy. It’s problem-solving. It’s dealing with wind, awkward lies, and your own head. And honestly? It’s way more human than people expect. In this round you’ll see: • How I navigate the Needles 9 in proper links conditions • The shots I committed to — and the ones I didn’t • What low-handicap actually looks like under pressure • The mental resets I use when things wobble • The misses most people don’t show on YouTube If you’re a golfer who’s stuck, frustrated, or trying to understand what better golf really looks like… this one’s for you. ⛳ Use Code AWGOLF10 for 10% Off at https://www.evolutiongolf.co.uk & https://covertcaddy.co.uk Don't forget to: Head to https://www.evolutiongolf.co.uk for all of your golf gear! 👍 Like if you are enjoying the content 💬 Comment below – What you would like to see next 🔔 Subscribe to join the journey and never miss an update What 2 Handicap Golf Looks Like On The Links...
