Longtime CBS analyst Peter Oosterhuis, 75, dies

Legendary golf analyst Peter Oosterhuis passed away at the age of 75. Oosterhuis spent 40 years as an on-course analyst for CBS Sports. Oosterhuis joined CBS in 1982 and covered over 300 PGA Tour events. He also covered the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup, and the Masters Tournament. Oosterhuis was known for his in-depth knowledge of the game and his ability to connect with viewers. Former CBS lead golf announcer Jim Nantz said of his longtime colleague: “Peter was one of a kind in the booth.
