Biomechanical Optimization of the Golf Swing Follow-Through for Enhanced Accuracy
The follow-through in the golf swing plays a crucial role in determining the ball’s trajectory and distance. This study utilizes biomechanical analysis to identify key factors that influence the follow-through’s impact on accuracy.
Using advanced technology, we analyzed the contributions of body segments, muscle groups, and their interaction in the follow-through motion. Our findings suggest that optimizing trunk rotation, arm extension, and wrist pronation during the follow-through is essential for achieving maximum clubhead speed, optimal launch angle, and increased shot accuracy.
Practical recommendations are provided to refine follow-through techniques and maximize performance outcomes for golfers of all skill levels, contributing to improved shot accuracy and overall performance enhancement.
