Scheffler has been in dominant form this year, winning four PGA Tour events, including the Masters. However, he missed the cut at the Memorial Tournament last week, raising some doubts about his form.
Despite the setback, Scheffler remains the favorite to win the U.S. Open, which starts on Thursday at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.
The 25-year-old American is bidding to become the first player to win the Masters and U.S. Open in the same year since Tiger Woods in 2002.
The final day of the AIG Women’s Open will be Saturday, August 26 at Walton Heath Golf Club in Surrey, England. Third-round tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. BST (2:30 a.m. ET).
TV coverage in the U.S. will be on Golf Channel from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET and NBC from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. In the U.K., Sky Sports will have live coverage from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. BST.
