Rahm cards 8 birdies, takes 2-shot LIV UK lead

Jon Rahm continued to flirt with the LIV Golf Series after carding eight birdies to take a two-shot lead at the BMW PGA Championship. Rahm, who had previously been linked with a move to LIV Golf, said he was “open-minded” about the Saudi-based series and that he would consider a move if the money was right. However, he also said that he was “happy” on the PGA Tour and that he did not feel like he was “missing anything” by staying. Rahm’s comments come amid growing speculation about the future of the PGA Tour, with several top players, including Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau, having already made the switch to LIV Golf. The PGA Tour has responded by suspending players who have joined LIV Golf, and it is unclear what the future holds for the two rival tours.
