Royal Troon’s sixth hole will be the longest in the Open’s history, measuring 612 yards from the championship tees.
The par-5, which runs along the Ayrshire coastline, has been stretched by 33 yards since the last time the Open was played at Troon in 2016, and will provide a stern test for the world’s best golfers.
