Derek Sprague Takes the Helm as CEO of PGA of America
The PGA of America has officially announced the appointment of Derek Sprague as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2023. He will be succeeding Seth Waugh, who is retiring after a notable 12-year leadership period.
Sprague comes to this role with an impressive background in golf management and operations. As the current President and CEO of Troon, he has overseen its growth into the largest golf management company globally, managing over 630 courses across 45 states and 35 countries.
