Wildfires force PGA Tour to move Genesis tourney
The PGA Tour has been forced to relocate the Genesis Invitational due to the impending arrival of wildfires in the Los Angeles area. Originally scheduled to be played at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, from February 16-19, the tournament will now be held at the Copper Canyon Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, from February 20-23. The decision was made after consultation with local authorities and the PGA Tour, who determined that the safety of players, spectators, and staff could not be guaranteed at Riviera.
