BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Nick Bridgeman took advantage of a run of four birdies on his homeward nine Saturday to take a one-shot lead after the third round of the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.

Bridgeman, making his debut at the tournament outside Minneapolis, fired a 3-under 68 that included birdies at Nos. 12, 15, 16 and 18. He made the turn in 34 and held a share of the lead at one stage until a pair of bogeys at the 11th and 13th holes.

His 54-hole total is 9-under 204. Australia’s Harrison Endycott (67), England’s Tyrrell Hatton (68) and South Korea’s Byeong Hun An (69) are at 8-under 205.
