Topgolf Callaway Could Look Noticeably Different Next Year
Topgolf Callaway Brands could undergo significant changes in the coming year. Chief Executive Officer Chip Brewer hinted at potential acquisitions and divestitures, which could reshape the company’s portfolio.
“We’re actively looking at strategic acquisitions and divestitures, and we have a strong balance sheet that gives us the flexibility to execute on those opportunities,” Brewer said during the company’s third-quarter earnings call.
Topgolf Callaway has been expanding its business through acquisitions in recent years, including its purchase of golf club and equipment maker TaylorMade in 2017 and golf simulator company Full Swing in 2020.
Topgolf Callaway is reportedly exploring the potential sale of its Topgolf Live business, which includes its popular golf entertainment venues.
