‘I can’t stand looking at it’: Jim Nantz annoyed by this part of golf  

CBS legend Jim Nantz took to the mic following Monday afternoon’s final round of the 150th Open Championship to express his dislike for the new par-3 13th hole at St Andrews. Nantz made these controversial comments while on the air following Rory McIlroy’s victory at the Old Course, which is widely considered “the home of golf.”

“I can’t stand looking at it,” Nantz said. “That’s one of the great marvels, that beautiful landscape, that wonderful golf course, [but] you stick a postage stamp right in the middle of it … And the green is so small that if you miss it, it’s almost an automatic bogey.”
