Koepka: Merger talk is PIF-PGA Tour, not LIV
Golfers Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed are reportedly among the non-LIV Golf players who have met with Greg Norman or other LIV Golf representatives in recent weeks to discuss the possibility of a merger between the two tours, with the Public Investment Fund being a central figure, sources told ESPN. Rory McIlroy, however, refuted the reports and said, “There’s no room for LIV in golf.” Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka is skeptical of Norman’s latest offer and suggested that the reported merger talks are between the PGA Tour and the PIF, not LIV Golf.
