After Olympic heartbreak, a ‘painful’ Jon Rahm told us everything
Jon Rahm spoke about the “painful” experience of missing out on a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
After finishing outside the top 10, Rahm told reporters that he was “disappointed” with his performance.
“It’s tough to take,” he said. “I had high expectations for myself, and I didn’t meet them.”
Rahm said that he was particularly disappointed because he felt like he had played well all week.
“I just couldn’t make any putts,” he said. “It’s frustrating when you’re playing well and you’re not getting the results you want.”
Despite his disappointment, Rahm said that he was proud to have represented Spain at the Olympics.
“It was an unbelievable experience,” he said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been here.”
