T. Kim shoots 65, maintains lead at Travelers
T. Kim maintained his lead at the Travelers Championship on Friday after firing a 5-under 65 in the second round. The 20th-ranked player in the world started his day with birdies on the first and third holes and added another on the par-5 sixth. He made the turn at 3 under and picked up two more shots on the back nine to finish the day at 14 under, one stroke ahead of Scottie Scheffler and Max Homa. Scheffler, the world number one, shot a 4-under 66 to move into a tie for second place. Homa, who won the Fortinet Championship last month, also shot a 66 to join Scheffler at 13 under. The trio will enter the weekend with a narrow lead over the rest of the field.
