Yang, 34, wins Women’s PGA for first major title
Inbee Yang of South Korea captured her first major title in three years at the Women’s PGA Championship, which concluded on Sunday. Yang, a seven-time major winner, fired a 4-under 67 in the final round at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland, to finish at 17-under 267 and secure a two-stroke victory over Jennifer Kupcho. Yang birdied the par-5 18th hole to seal the victory. She had held at least a share of the lead since the first round. Lexi Thompson and Nelly Korda finished in a tie for third at 14-under 270.
