He’s 61. He quit for 20 years. And he’s playing the PGA Championship
At 61 years old and after a 20-year hiatus, golfer Kevin Sutherland is set to compete in the PGA Championship. Sutherland, who won three PGA Tour events in the 1990s, retired in 2001 due to a chronic back injury. However, after undergoing successful surgery in 2021, he decided to make a comeback. Sutherland earned a spot in the PGA Championship after finishing tied for second at the PGA Professional National Championship. He will be the oldest player in the field at this year’s PGA Championship.
