Scottie Scheffler has hit back at Tom Kim, claiming the young South Korean “poked the bear” with his comments after their final-round pairing at the Phoenix Open.
Kim had said that Scheffler, the world number one, was “beatable” after finishing three shots ahead of him on Sunday.
But Scheffler responded sharply on Wednesday, saying: “I think he poked the bear a little bit. I’m going to try and take it as motivation.”
