Kim Apologizes to Furyk, Schauffele for Comments
Cameron Young fired a 65 to take a one-stroke lead over Wyndham Clark and Keith Mitchell on Thursday at the Shriners Children’s Open, but the day was mostly known for Kim apologizing to Jim Furyk and Xander Schauffele following his controversial comments on Tuesday.
Kim said in an Instagram post that he was “deeply sorry” for his remarks, which he said were “unacceptable.” He also said that he had reached out to Furyk and Schauffele and apologized to them personally.
