Man charged for delivering stolen Masters items

A Georgia man has been charged with theft after allegedly delivering stolen Masters memorabilia to a Georgia golf shop. According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, Jermaine Hicks, 30, was arrested and charged with theft by receiving stolen property in connection with items reported stolen from the Augusta National Golf Club following the 2023 Masters Tournament.

Hicks was reportedly seen delivering the stolen items to Golf Guys in Evans, Georgia. An employee at the store recognized the items as stolen after seeing photographs released by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office. The store contacted authorities, who responded and arrested Hicks.
