Green, who covered 60 straight Masters, dies

Veteran golf journalist Tim Green Jr., who covered 60 straight Masters, passed away on Tuesday. He was 72.

Born in Atlanta and a graduate of the University of Georgia Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, Green’s career in golf media spanned over 40 years.

Green was most known for his time with the Golf Channel, where he covered the game of golf beginning in 1995.

Green was also a contributing writer for The Augusta Chronicle during the Masters.

He began his journey to completing his impressive 60 Masters streak in 1962.
