Justin Rose’s emotional victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has left him ‘choking back tears’, and with a renewed sense of purpose. The Englishman held off a strong field to claim his first PGA Tour title in over two years, and his first since becoming a father for the second time.
Speaking after his victory, Rose admitted that he was overcome with emotion. “It’s been a tough time for me and my family of late,” he said. “And to come back and win like this, it means the world to me.”
