
**Tiger Woods: “Still a Journey Ahead Before I’m PGA Tour Ready!”**
Tiger Woods says he still has “a long way to go” before he is ready to return to the PGA Tour.
The 15-time major champion has not played a competitive round since the Open Championship in July 2022. After enduring severe injuries from a car crash in February 2021, he underwent surgery on his right leg in December 2022.
Woods made an inspiring comeback at the PNC Championship in December 2022, teaming up with his son, Charlie. He also participated in the Genesis Invitational in February 2023, where he finished 45th.
“I’m not where I want to be,” Woods reflected after the Genesis Invitational. “I’m still a long way away. I’m getting better, but it’s a slow process.”
Woods expressed uncertainty about when he’ll be ready for the PGA Tour again.
“I’m just taking it day by day,” he shared. “I’m not putting a timetable on it. I’m just trying to get better.
