She’s doing it again: Nelly Korda back in contention for record-breaking win
Nelly Korda is back in contention for a record-breaking win at the LPGA’s Pelican Women’s Championship. The American golfer leads the field after the second round, shooting a 67 to sit at 12-under par, two strokes ahead of Atthaya Thitikul.
Korda is looking to win her fourth consecutive LPGA event, which would be a record for the longest winning streak in the history of the tour.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form this season, winning three times and finishing in the top-10 in all but two of her starts.
She will need to continue her strong play over the weekend if she wants to make history and set a new LPGA record.
