LIV players get OK to be on U.S. Ryder Cup team

LIV golfers will be eligible to compete in the Ryder Cup in 2023 following a vote by the R&A allowing them to compete in events alongside players on the DP World Tour. The decision was welcomed by Team Europe captain Luke Donald, who said he would consider LIV players for selection if they are “playing well and part of the qualification process.”

However, the decision by the R&A is likely to further fuel the ongoing feud between the LIV Golf and PGA Tour with the latter suspending several golfers who jumped to the Greg Norman-led series.
