This 1 element is critical when shaping shots, says top teacher
Golf Digest Teaching Professional of the Year, Michael Breed, says one element is critical when shaping shots: grip. “Your grip determines the angle of the clubface at impact, which in turn determines the direction and spin of the ball,” Breed explains. He suggests golfers experiment with different grips to find one that allows them to shape shots consistently. “There’s no one-size-fits-all grip,” Breed says. “It’s about finding what works best for you.”
