Bryson DeChambeau surprises SMU student section with U.S. Open trophy
Bryson DeChambeau, fresh off his triumph at the U.S. Open, surprised SMU students with a visit and his championship trophy.
The 2020 NCAA individual champion and four-time All-American at SMU was welcomed by cheering students and grabbed a microphone to speak about the importance of staying true to oneself and pursuing one’s dreams.
“I wouldn’t be here today without the lessons I learned here at SMU,” DeChambeau said. “Always remember to believe in yourself and never give up on your goals.”
