PGA Tour player agents face certification changes

PGA Tour player agents will soon face new certification requirements, as part of an effort to enhance transparency and professionalism in the industry. The PGA Tour’s Player Agent Certification Program (PACP) will require agents to pass a comprehensive exam covering topics such as contract negotiation, player management, and ethics. Agents must also complete continuing education courses every three years to maintain their certification. The changes are designed to ensure that agents are knowledgeable and ethical, and that players have access to the highest quality representation. The PACP will be implemented on January 1, 2024.
