U.S. Presidents Cup Team Selection Remains Uncertain

The 2024 Presidents Cup is approaching, but the U.S. team selection remains murky. Only Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, and Xander Schauffele have secured their spots.

Favorites like Sam Burns, Tony Finau, and Collin Morikawa are expected to join them, but the remaining places are up for grabs.

Rising stars Cameron Young and Taylor Pendrith are in contention, along with veterans Si Woo Kim and Hideki Matsuyama.

The selection process considers performance, form, and team chemistry. The captain, Davis Love III, will face a difficult task in finalizing the roster, as several players are performing well but only a few spots remain.

Stay tuned as the race for the remaining positions intensifies.

Scheffler, the world number one, shot a 4-under 66 to move into a tie for second place. Homa, who won the Fortinet Championship last month, also shot a 66 to join Scheffler at 13 under.
