INVERNESS, Fla. – Séamus Power accepted a one-shot penalty after his second shot Thursday on the ninth hole at Innisbrook struck a tree, ricocheted and hit a fan in the right shoulder. He recovered to make bogey on the 424-yard par 4. Power, who lost in a playoff Sunday in the Honda Classic, still managed to shoot 2-under 69, putting him three behind leader Roger Sloan, who had five birdies and a bogey for a 66. Brian Harman (67) and J.T. Poston (68) were two shots behind Sloan. Scott Stallings started with a quadruple-bogey 8 on the 10th and shot 78. Kevin Kisner shot 68, and Ollie Schniederjans, the 2012 NCAA champion at Georgia, made double bogey on the ninth, his final hole, for a 70.
