The relentless downpour and fierce winds turned the once picturesque Seta Golf Club course into an unplayable obstacle course. As a result, tournament organizers had no choice but to slash the competition from its intended 72-hole glory to a 54-hole battle.
This isn’t the first time Mother Nature has thrown a curveball at an LPGA event. Back in 2018, Typhoon Trami wreaked havoc in China, leading to the unfortunate cancellation of the Reignwood Classic.
