Spieth (wrist) expects to be ‘tournament-ready’

Jordan Spieth is expected to make a full recovery from a wrist injury in time for the Masters. The three-time major champion injured his left wrist while practicing in December. He withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as a result of the injury. Spieth said he is “progressing well” and expects to be “tournament-ready” for the Masters, which begins on April 6. “I’m hitting balls and chipping and putting,” Spieth said. “I’m still not quite where I want to be, but I’m getting there.” Spieth is one of the favorites to win the Masters. He won the tournament in 2015 and finished second in 2016 and 2018.
