2024 Travelers Championship: Thursday’s tee times

Round 1 of the 2024 Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands is set for Thursday, June 20.

Tee times and pairings for the tournament have been announced, with the first group set to tee off at 9:05 from the 1st hole.

Harris English, the defending champion, will tee off at 1:05 PM local time from the 1st hole. He will be grouped with JJ Spaun and Kevin Kisner.

Other notable pairings for the first round include Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas, who will tee off at 12:10 PM from the 1st hole.

Dustin Johnson will play with Scottie Scheffler and Tony Finau. They will tee off at 1:32 PM.

Jordan Spieth will in a group with Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay. Their tee time is at 10:40 AM from the 10th hole.

Rory McIlroy has withdrawn from the Travelers Championship due to an ongoing rib injury, which caused him to miss previously missed the Memorial Tournament last week.

McIlroy, who last competed at the U.S. Open, said it’s been a “difficult” season but that he’s generally “happy with where the game is at.”

“My body just can’t keep up. It’s a minor injury but it’s enough to where I can’t play,” McIlroy said.

McIlroy said he plans to take a few weeks off, including missing the RBC Canadian Open, which he won in 2019.
