Rory: Bradley ‘interesting pick’ as U.S. captain

Rory McIlroy has expressed his surprise at the selection of Keegan Bradley as the next captain of the United States Ryder Cup team. McIlroy, a four-time major winner and former world number one, said that Bradley is an “interesting pick” for the role and that he did not see it coming.

“I think it’s an interesting pick,” McIlroy said. “He’s a great player, but I don’t think he has a lot of experience in leadership roles. I’m not sure what his vision is for the team, but I’m sure he’s going to do a great job.”

McIlroy also said that he is looking forward to playing against Bradley in the Ryder Cup.

“I think it’s going to be a great competition,” McIlroy said. “The U.S. team is always strong, and I’m sure Keegan is going to have them fired up. We’re going to have to be at our best to beat them.”
