Minjee Lee leads in Scotland with play halted
Minjee Lee, the current world number five, leads the AIG Women’s Open by three strokes at the halfway stage at Muirfield in Scotland. The Australian carded a second-round of 70 to move to 11 under par, three shots clear of American Megan Khang, who shot a 69. England’s Georgia Hall and Charley Hull are a further shot back on seven under par, alongside Sweden’s Madelene Sagström. The second round was suspended due to darkness with 24 players still on the course. They will complete their rounds on Saturday morning before the third round begins, weather permitting.
