Collin Morikawa’s Refreshing Candor on Fan Support at the PGA Championship
PGA Championship: Morikawa addresses fan support
Collin Morikawa was surprisingly frank about his appreciation for the crowd’s support during the third round of the PGA Championship.
“The last few days walking up 18, I’m not usually one to show much emotion, but it’s a moment where I kind of black out and just soak it in and kind of bow to the crowd,” Morikawa said. “It’s something that I’ll definitely remember for hopefully the rest of my career. I feel when I’m in the zone and I’m playing well, they cheer even louder and it helps me play that much better. I definitely feed off them. I always say I’m the biggest fan out here because I love the game of golf.”
