DENVER, CO – Golfer John Daly is on the mend after undergoing emergency hand surgery following an unfortunate accident at home.

The mishap took place on Tuesday night while Daly was engaged with power tools. He suffered multiple lacerations to his right hand, necessitating swift medical intervention.

After a successful surgery at a local hospital, Daly is now resting comfortably and focusing on recovery. His doctor has recommended that he take a break from golf for at least six weeks to ensure his wounds heal properly.

This injury comes as a disappointment for Daly, who was set to compete in the Charles Schwab Challenge this week. Currently ranked 184th in the world, he is eager to qualify for this year’s U.S. Open and make a strong comeback
